Micribiological Laboratory Trainee

Our client is a global food company based in Barcelona, Spain, operates in over 50 countries across Europe and Africa, offering more than 30 local brands. 

With a view to strengthening our Quality team, we are looking for 1 Laboratory Technician for our headquarters in Agrate Brianza (MB).

Reporting directly to the Laboratory Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

Key Responsibilities:

· Microbiological analysis of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products: traditional plate analysis, real-time PCR, commercial stability analysis;

· Preparation of culture media;

· Chemical-physical analysis: pH, aw, nutritional analysis, use of HPLC, spectrophotometer;

· Drafting of procedures and other documentation to support Quality.

· Degree in Food Science and Technology, Biology, or similar;

· Knowledge of the basic principles of microbiology;

· Previous experience, even brief, in a microbiological laboratory;

· Experience in performing microbiological analyses;

· Knowledge of the Office suite;

· Knowledge of SAP is welcome;

· Good knowledge of English (B1 or higher).
