Our client is a leading multinational industrial group in the energy sector, specialized in Medium Voltage solutions with a consolidated presence across Southern Europe. They are a manufacturer of electrical distribution equipment and prefabricated concrete buildings, known for their high technical standards and own manufacturing capabilities.
You will be joining at a strategic moment of expansion: The company is currently establishing a permanent local structure. They are building their founding team in Rome now, with the clear goal of opening a fully operational subsidiary in the next year. - Business Development: Collaborate with the Commercial Lead to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the Utilities and Industrial sectors
- Technical Consulting: Conduct technical presentations and advise clients on Medium Voltage solutions (Switchgear, Transformer Substations).
- Tender Management: Prepare technical specifications, manage public/private tenders, and draft commercial offers in coordination with the engineering team.
- Negotiation: Manage commercial negotiations and ensure successful deal closures.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate activity records in the CRM and report progress to the HQ.
- Networking: Represent the company at industry fairs and events to build a strong local network
Perfil requerido
Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in technical sales or commercial engineering.
- Must-have: Proven experience in the Medium Voltage (MV) sector (Switchgear, Transformers, or Substations).
- Experience managing Tenders and technical bidding processes is highly valued.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Industrial Engineering.
Languages
- Italian: Native or bilingual (C1/C2).
- English: Advanced/Fluent (Required for international reporting).
- Spanish: Considered a strong plus.
Competences
- Deep technical understanding of MV electrical systems and local regulations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously (remote/field work) and as part of an international team.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office. SAP knowledge is a plus.
